Dear Achievers,

 

3 Cheers to everyone involved who made Saturday's event such a success (see photo attached)!!  Highlights include the Joke Contest, HK adaptation of "Britain's Got Talent", Debate (topic was "Plastic Surgery Improves the Quality of Life"), Tanya Chan's (陳淑莊) Keynote speech and Induction ceremony.  7 Past-presidents were there to celebrate the night with us!

 

Special salutation to our Inauguration Dinner chairperson, Tammy, for her dedication and hard-work prior to and during the dinner.  It was one of the best organized and well-run Toastmasters function I've ever attended.

 

Once again we'd like to thank the following members for coordinating and leading their respective sessions:

Thanks to our IPP, Jonathan Leung, for reaching deep into his personal treasury to donate souvenir and prizes to recognize the efforts of our members over the past year.

 

Our Dale Peck was voted the night's best debater and our guest Talis Wong the most "creative" for his portrayal of Michael Jackson!

 

Congratulations to Vanessa Li and Arthur Cheung for being voted our "Toastmasters of the Year"!
